A big thank you to one and all who contributed to our charity Christmas raffle at last week's Christmas Lunch. €2,980 was raised - the proceeds of which will be donated to the Children's Sunshine Home, Ireland's first hospice for terminally-ill children.

Thanks are owed too to Coca-Cola and Bailey's for their support and to the following sponsors of our fabulous spot prizes, whose generosity added greatly to the occasion:

MCD Productions; 3 & Thinkhouse PR; Meteor; Educogym - Baggot Street; The Fitzwilliam Institute; Iarnród Éireann; PGA National Ireland; The National Concert Hall; The Real Irish Food Company; SuperValu; Butler's Chocolates; Glanbia; and Tipperary Crystal at House of Frazer.

Christmas break at the PRII
Please note that the PRII office will close at 12 noon on Friday 21 December and will re-open for business on Wednesday 02 January. As we will not be sending Christmas cards but will make a donation to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul in lieu, we would like to wish all of you a very happy and peaceful Christmas, and a healthy and prosperous New Year.
